# Update The Plugin

We continuously enhance our products and release regular updates, so it's important to keep your plugins up to date.

## How to Update the Plugin

Follow **WP Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins:**

Check for Update Notifications. If a new version is available, a notification bar will appear below the [**CCFBW**](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] plugin informing you of the update. Click on the <kbd>Update Now</kbd> button:

#### IMPORTANT

Do **NOT** close the tab until you get the **Success** or **Error** message. Closing the page while updating causes WordPress to move the **Maintenance mode** which makes your site **inaccessible.**
