# Calendar

**Calendar** is an add-on that gives students a single place to see every important date tied to the courses they're enrolled in. Instead of digging through each course to find "when is this due" or "when does this unlock," students get one chronological view of everything coming up.

#### **✅ With Calendar, students can:**

* See **assignment deadlines** across all their courses
* See the **start time of live classes** (Zoom or Google Meet)
* See when a **Drip Content** lesson (or other content type) becomes available
* See the **unlock date of a pre-order (coming soon) course**
* See the **start date of a Stream lesson**, if a Start Date is set for it
* Switch between a **calendar view** and a **list view**
* Click any event to **jump straight into the course player** for that lesson, quiz, or assignment
* Keep a **history of past events** - once a lesson unlocks, the entry stays in the calendar so students can always check when it became available

### Enabling the Calendar Add-on

Calendar can be activated by following **WP Dashboard > MS LMS > Pro Addons > Calendar.**

Once activated, a new **Calendar** menu item automatically appears in the student's frontend profile. No extra configuration or settings required.

### Accessing the Calendar

Students can find the Calendar from their student profile in *Progress* section:

This section is only visible to students and reflects events from all the courses they are enrolled in.

Clicking on an event takes the student directly into the **course player**, opening the specific lesson, quiz, assignment, or other content item tied to that event.&#x20;

### What Shows Up on the Calendar

The Calendar pulls events from several places across a course automatically. Here's what a student can expect to see:

| **Drip Content unlock date** | The date/time a lesson (or any content type) becomes available under[ Drip Content](/masterstudy-lms/lms-pro-addons/drip-content.md) — either a fixed **unlock date**, or the date calculated from **"Available X days after purchase"** |
| **Pre-order unlock date**    | The date a course purchased as [**pre-order**](/masterstudy-lms/lms-pro-addons/upcoming-course-status.md) **(coming soon)** becomes accessible                                                                                           |
| **Stream lesson start date** | The Start Date of a [Stream](/masterstudy-lms/lms-pro-addons/live-streaming.md) lesson, if one is set                                                                                                                                    |

### Calendar Views

There are two ways to browse events: **Calendar** and **List**. Students can switch between them from the top of the Calendar section.

### Event History

Calendar entries are **not removed once their date has passed**. After a lesson unlocks or a deadline passes, the entry stays visible, so a student can always look back and see exactly when a given lesson was unlocked or an assignment was due.
