Header Setup

The header section of the theme consists of two sections - main header and top bar. You can find the header settings in the Theme Options > Header.

Header settings can be different depending on the selected header style option.

Header Components

Top Bar

Top Bar style remains the same for all Headers. There are WPML language switcher, contact details, social networks, and Login/Register in the Top Bar. You can turn on the Top Bar and manage its items in Theme Options > Top Bar section.

Language switcher

WPML plugin doesn’t come with the Extended license. Thus it needs to purchase the plugin separately.

The language switcher works only with the WPML plugin. So it needs to install and set up the WPML plugin on the website. You can get the plugin here - https://wpml.org/.

Contact Details

You can add your phone number, address, and working hours at the bottom of the Theme Options > Top Bar section. You can enable your details on the mobile header as well.

Social Networks

Social media icons will display if they contain a link in relative fields of the theme options. You can manage social networks in Theme Options > Social Media.

You can display or hide social network icons in Top Bar by using Enable Top Bar Social Media icons option in Top Bar settings.

When the option is enabled, the social media icon selection appears below

Login/Register

You can display or hide login and registration links in the Theme Options > Top Bar section.

Login and registration are linked to the default LMS login page. You can review how to change the default login page URL in the LMS Settings > LMS Pages.

Top Bar Background Color

In the same section, there is a possibility to add a background color to the Top Bar. You can either select the desired color from the color picker or add the hex code of your color in the settings. Also, the Top Bar can be transparent if the Transparent checkbox is selected.

Main Header

Header Logo

To upload the logo image go to Theme Options > General section. You need to add two logo images to Site Logo and White-text Logo fields.

Main Menu

Main Menu is the primary navigation menu for the theme and it allows to present a site structure for the users. You can edit the Main Menu from Appearance > Menus > Edit menus and choose “Main Menu”.

The position of the Main Menu may be different according to the selected Header Styles.

LMS Course Search

The online course search bar is visible on the Online Course header style. The search bar consists of two parts search by course category and by course title. The search bar can be disabled in the Theme Options > Header section.

Course Search Categories

You can set the limit for the number of categories displayed in the search bar. Specify the number in the Course Search Categories Limit.

Keyword Search

The keyword search option is available in the Offline Courses header style. It searches over the entire website through pages, posts, and custom post types. It can be disabled by turning off the Show Search Icon option in the Theme Options > Header section.

Wishlist

The MasterStudy LMS plugin allows users to add courses to their wishlist. All the selected courses can be seen via the Wishlist icon. The Wishlist icon can be enabled in the Offline Courses, Online Courses, and Distance Learning header styles.

Become an Instructor & For Enterprise

The Become an Instructor and For Enterprise links display popup windows with appropriate forms. Those forms are available only in the Online Courses header style.

Become an Instructor form - the registered users can send a request to become an instructor via this form.

The For Enterprise form - is a simple contact form for getting in touch with website admin. Useful for partnership offers.

Those forms can be disabled via Show Popup links option in the Theme Options > Header section.

Login & Sign Up

Login and Sign Up buttons are linked to the default LMS login page. You can review how to change the default login page URL in the LMS Settings > Routes.

Course Categories

Available in the Online Course and Academy header styles. Course categories can be selected in the Course Categories field of the Theme Options > Header section.

To set category icons, go to the STM LMS > Courses Category and edit your category. Find the Category Icon section and select the desired icon.

Header Socials

Available in the Offline Courses, Online Courses, Logo Centered, and Distance Learning header styles. They can be enabled or disabled in the Theme Options > Header section.

Social media icons will display if they contain a link in relative fields of the theme options. You can manage social networks in Theme Options > Social Media.

Header Language Switcher

The language switcher works only with the WPML plugin. So it needs to install and set up the WPML plugin on the website. You can get the plugin here - https://wpml.org/.
