In this theme, we paid special attention to Sidebars for your biggest convenience and on multiple previous requests. There are two types of sidebars in the theme - default built-in sidebars of WordPress and custom sidebars.
The default sidebars are located in the Appearance > Widgets section. MasterStudy has 3 sidebar areas which can be used to add your own widgets.
The STM LMS Sidebar should show up as soon as it’s populated with at least one widget. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets and populate the STM LMS Sidebar widget area with a few widgets using drag-and-drop.
Go to Theme Options > Sidebars section here choose Right Sidebar or Left Sidebar to enable sidebar in Blog Page.
There is a list of Widgets you can choose from when it comes to making the sidebar functional, for this go to Appearance > Widgets. Choose the ones you need and add them to the Primary Sidebar:
Go to Theme Options > Sidebars section here choose Right Sidebar or Left Sidebar to enable sidebar in Shop Page.
Add appropriate widgets to the Shop sidebar in the Appearance > Widgets section.
There is the sidebar select field in both Blog and Shop sections. When that field is empty, the theme will use the default sidebars.
You can build unlimited custom sidebars using the WPBakery Page Builder elements in the Sidebars section of the WordPress dashboard menu.
Click Add New button to add a new sidebar. Enter the title of your sidebar and switch the editor to Backend Editor.
Add desired elements from the library to the content.
Please be informed, some elements are intended to use only on pages and posts.
The ready sidebar can be used on archive pages in the Theme Options > Sidebars section.
Also, the sidebars can be displayed on single posts and pages. For that, go to the Posts > Add New and add a new row to your post/page.
Hover over the Layout icon and click on the “Custom“ link to divide the row into columns.
After, add STM Sidebar to the column with a smaller width and select the desired sidebar.
Add other content elements and publish a single post.
You can combine a custom sidebar with default sidebars by using the Widetised Sidebar element.
