Email Template Manager
Pro Feature
The Email Template Manager in the Motors Plugin enables you to manage and customize the content of various automated emails sent to users and admins for specific actions and events on your website. You can personalize each email template to match your platform’s tone, style, and content requirements.
To enable the addon, follow WP Dashboard > Motors > Pro Features > Email Template Manager:
Ensure that you set up SMTP settings on your website to make the email sending work.
Addon Settings
The settings of the addon can be reached by following WP Dashboard > Motors > Email Template Manager:
Settings of the addon have been organized into 4 tabs:
Moreover, you can check the look of your outgoing emails on the preview section located on the right side in real time and send a test email to yourself.
General
Email Branding – Enable or disable the default Motors email design. When disabled, you can use a fully custom HTML email template with your own header and footer.
Sender Name – The name that will appear as the sender in outgoing emails.
Sender Email – The email address that will be used as the “From” address in emails.
Reply-To Email – The email address where replies from recipients will be directed when they respond to received messages.
Header
In this tab, you can customize the header part of the emails:
Logo – upload your custom logo to be displayed at the top of all outgoing emails. The recommended size is 45x45px, and the maximum file size is 5MB.
Header Style – choose between Default and Modern styles to define the visual layout of the email header. Each style affects how the logo and background appear.
Header Background Color – select a background color for the email header area. If no background image is set, this color will be applied.
Header Background Image – upload a custom image to use as the header background. The uploaded image will override the background color. Recommended size is 600x100px, and the maximum file size is 5MB.
Appearence
Primary Color – defines the main accent color used for buttons, links, and other interactive elements in email templates.
Text Color – sets the color of the main text content in email templates
Background Color – determines the background color of the email body. If a background image is uploaded, it will override this color.
Background Image – allows you to upload a custom image to use as the email background. Recommended size is 600x900px, and the maximum file size is 5MB.
Font Family – selects the font style applied to all email text. This ensures a consistent appearance for headings, paragraphs, and button labels.
Footer
Customize the content displayed at the bottom of all outgoing emails. You can add contact information, copyright text, or additional notes for recipients. The editor supports text formatting, links, and smart tags.
Smart Tags – Use dynamic placeholders to automatically include your website’s name or URL in the footer. This helps keep email information consistent and up to date. Available smart tags for the footer:

Email Templates
On the same page, you can find all the email templates you have on your website. By expanding them, you will find some settings to adjust. Switch the tabs to set up the required template.
In each template, you can customize its Subject, Heading, and Main Template Body, and all of your changes will be immediately reflected in the Preview section located on the right side of the page:
By typing {, you can access a list of available Smart Tags that can be used in any field of the email message, including the subject. Alternatively, you can use the special Add Smart Tag button.
User Emails
Welcome
Sent to a newly registered user to welcome and inform their successful registration.

Account Approval
Sent to a new user to confirm their email address and activate their account.

Search Match Found*
Sent to a user when new listings matching their saved search preferences become available.

Sent to the listing author to inform that their submission was received and is waiting for moderation before publication.
