# Sidebars

Sidebars are a great way to add extra content and functionality to your website, without distracting from its core content. We paid particular attention to Sidebars for your most considerable convenience and on multiple previous requests in this theme.&#x20;

### Creating Custom Sidebars

In Theme options, you can create an unlimited number of sidebars by clicking<img src="/files/JoIpMpDOixevixX3rr5Y" alt="" data-size="line"> button and they can be used on pages, blog posts, services, events, cases, and portfolio post types.

Let's create sidebars for each custom post type individually:

The custom sidebars appear in the Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets section and you can [add the widgets](#adding-widgets-to-the-sidebars) to them individually.

### Adding Widgets to the Sidebars

You can add the widgets for these sidebars in the Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets section. There find the **Sidebar** section, and then give it a click to expand. You should now be able to see all the widgets that make up this particular sidebar:

By clicking Browse All you can open the full list of available widgets that are grouped by categories on the left side of the screen. You should now be able to see all the widgets that make up this particular sidebar.

* **Add a widget**. In the **Available Widgets** section, find the widget that you want to add to the sidebar, and then drag and drop it onto the **Sidebar** section. Note that wherever you drop the widget is where it’ll appear in the sidebar.&#x20;
