# Group Courses {% embed url="" %} **The Group Courses** add-on in MasterStudy LMS is a powerful feature designed to simplify selling courses to groups of students usually at a discounted rate. Perfect for enterprises, organizations, or teams, this option allows course creators to set a special group price directly in the course builder, making it easy to offer bulk discounts. By catering to group enrollments, this feature not only increases sales potential but also provides excellent value for larger audiences looking for cost-effective learning solutions. {% hint style="info" %} The **Group Courses** addon **does not** have a **discussion feature** within a group. It is **only** for **group purchases.** {% endhint %} To activate the **Group Courses** feature, follow **MS LMS > Pro Addons,** find **Group Courses** Addon, and enable it.

## Group Courses Addon Settings To open the add-on settings, click on the gear icon in the Group Courses addon on the pro addons page or follow **MS LMS > Enterprise Courses:**

* **Number of allowed members in a group** - set the maximum number of members allowed to join a group ## Set Enterprise Course Price {% stepper %} {% step %} To set an enterprise price for a course, edit any course with [Course Builder](https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/masterstudy-theme-documentation/masterstudy-lms-pro-addons/broken-reference) by following **MS LMS > Courses > Edith with Course Builder:**

{% endstep %} {% step %} Move to the **Pricing** tab and find the **Enterprise Price (4)** field:

{% endstep %} {% step %} Set the price and **Save** the changes: {% hint style="info" %} Make sure to set a **discounted enterprise price** when using the Group Courses feature. It is not mandatory but recommended as it is the main goal of the feature. For example, if a course costs `$62.90` for a one-time payment, **three** students purchasing it together could pay a total of `$149.90` instead of `$188.70` (the regular price for three individual purchases). {% endhint %}

{% endstep %} {% step %} Now on **the course page**, there will be a button that enables you to buy it for a group:

{% endstep %} {% endstepper %} ## Buy a Course for Group {% stepper %} {% step %} Purchasing a course for the course is a straightforward action. On the course page, click on the **Buy for Group** button:

{% endstep %} {% step %} If the student did not buy the course with a group before, he can create a new group by clicking the **Create Group** button.

{% endstep %} {% step %} Enter the **Group name** and add the student emails that you want to buy the course with and click on the **Create Group** button:

{% hint style="info" %} The maximum number of students in a group here will be inherited from the[ **addon settings.**](#group-courses-addon-settings) {% endhint %} {% endstep %} {% step %} Now we have a group to purchase the course. After the group creation, you will be redirected to the first step: **group selection**. Here you can add another group as well. But now we have a group. Choose the group and proceed by clicking **Add to Cart** button:

{% endstep %} {% step %} Complete the checkout:

{% endstep %} {% step %} That's it. You will be redirected to the order page after the successful checkout:

{% hint style="success" %} Only one member of the group will buy the course for a group. Other members will **automatically** get access to the course. {% endhint %} {% endstep %} {% endstepper %} ## Groups Management (student) Students can manage the groups **they created** in their dashboard by following the **Groups** tab:

{% hint style="info" %} Only the **Group Admin** (the one who created the group) can access the group settings. The group will not be visible on other students' dashboards. {% endhint %} By clicking the eye :eye: icon, you can see the detailed info about the Group:

On the opened page you can see the students list with the list of courses that students bought with this group. Here you can also **change** the **Group Admin** or **remove** the student from the group:

You can rename the group or kick the students from the group. After completing the modifications click on the **Edit Group** button:

{% hint style="info" %} Once the student is **removed** from the Group, he will also lose access to the purchased course content. {% endhint %} ### How to Delete a Group To delete a group click on the :x: icon:

After your confirmation, the group will be deleted. ### How to Import Groups via CSV {% stepper %} {% step %} First of all, you need to create a `CSV` with your group details. You can download the sample `CSV` here: {% file src="" %} Sample CSV for Group import {% endfile %} {% endstep %} {% step %} On the [**Groups**](#groups-management-student) tab, click on the **Import Groups (`csv`)** button and select the `.CSV` file:

{% endstep %} {% endstepper %} ## Groups Management (admin) Admin also has a special Enterprise Groups tab in his dashboard:
