# Instructor Settings
Instructors should also create an app to accept payments (receive money) in their PayPal account. They must configure their [**PayPal email**](#payout-app-for-instructor) and indicate it [**in their dashboard.**](#set-up-paypal-payout-in-the-dashboard)
## Payout App for Instructor

We will show the guide in **Sandbox (test) mode**. After configuring settings, make sure to change the mode to **Live** to start receiving real money**.**

1. Go to and sign in to your **PayPal business account**, then move to the developers' dashboard:
2. Move to the **Apps & Credentials** tab:
3. To create an app, click on the **Create App** button:
4. On the opened pop-up, name your app, indicate the app type, and create it:
5. On the opened page, you can see your email associated with the app:
6. Optional: If you want to change the email (rename), click on View Details:
7. Click on **Change Email:**
8. Write the new email and save the changes:
9. You have successfully updated the email:
10. After setting up everything and testing, kindly change the mode to **Live**:
## Set up PayPal Payout in the Dashboard
1. Go to your (instructor) dashboard and open the Payout tab:
2. Enter the email in your [**PayPal app**](#payout-app-for-instructor) and click on Save:
